Hello!
I was tagged by Bernie @ Bernie’s Musings and Doings, and since I love music so, so much, I thought I would give it a go!
(Oh, and I’ll have two songs for each question, one for lyrical music, and one for instrumental.)
- Your favorite song
Gah! I can’t possibly choose! There are way too many. I refuse to answer this question.
2. Your least favorite song
Lyrical: Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) by Silento
I…just…UGH. What is the point of this song, again?
Instrumental: Wanna Get Hype by District 78
I just really…don’t like this song. It’s not music to me.
3. A song that makes you happy
L: Unbelievable by Owl City
I love this song because it’s basically my childhood. Lots of memories… 🙂
I: Spontaneous Me by Lindsey Stirling
I love how bouncy and rhythmic the beat is. It makes me smile. 😀
4. A song that makes you sad
L: Someone Like You by Adele
The way she sings is just so amazing. It makes me kind of sad, yet inspired at the same time.
I: A Song Simply Remixed by Elijah Bossenbroek
The flow of the song is so gripping and emotional to me. But I still love it. ❤
5. A song that reminds you of someone
L: Your Song by Elton John
This song always reminds me of my parents because this was the first song they danced to on their wedding day. ❤
I: Cello Wars by ThePianoGuys
This one makes me think of my brother. He’s a bit of a Star Wars fanatic, and because of this video, he wants to play cello. 🙂
6. A song that reminds you of somewhere
L: Radioactive cover by Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling
Makes me think of a desolate old city, especially this cover of it. Oh, and this cover + me = ❤ EXTREME LOVE.
I: El Dorado by Two Steps from Hell
Makes me think of a lost city of gold…thus my train of thought ends up thinking of The Road to El Dorado, naturally, hence the name. 😛
7. A song that reminds you of a certain event
L: My Deliverer by Rich Mullins
Puts me right in Egypt along with the Israelites. Such a great, powerful song.
I: Music-Box Dancer cover by Mike Strickland
This always makes me think of ice-skating…Just so light and airy. 😉
8. A song that you know all the words to
Um… all of the songs I listen to?
9. A song you can dance to
L: Good Feeling cover by Lindsey Stirling
This one always makes me want to dance. Plus, the Just Dance format of the video makes me super pumped. 😀
I: Shadows by Lindsey Stirling
Lindsey songs are good for dancing, I guess? 😛 I love bouncing around to this one. 🙂
10. A song that makes you fall asleep

This song always makes my eyes droop…
I: Radio Ballet by Eluvium
This is just such a calm, relaxing song to me. I love the simplicity. ❤

Just…bleh. Sorry if you like 1D! 😛
I: Emergency by District 78
I don’t hate this band, but I don’t necessarily like all of their music…
13. A song that’s a guilty pleasure
L: Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by Eurythmics
Super catchy, but…lyrics aren’t the best in the world…
I: I don’t really see instrumental music as a guilty pleasure, I guess. I can’t think of any!
14. A song that no one would expect you to love
L: Most 80s and 70s music, I guess. I just really love that era! 🙂
I: Um…anything other than classical music? XD All my friends think I’m strange for liking it. 😛
15. A song that describes you
L: Me Without You by TobyMac
I just love this song. The lyrics mean so much to me. 🙂
I: River Flows in You by Yiruma
Another song that I absolutely love. My music teacher introduced me to this song and I fell in love. ❤
16. A song you used to love but now hate
L: Let it Go by Disney/Demi Lovato
Okay, you might’ve seen that one coming… 😛
I: I don’t usually (usually) love a song than end up hating it. So I can’t say.
17. A song you hear often on the radio
L: Good Good Father by Chris Tomlin
I hear this constantly on the radio, and I really love it. 🙂
I: I don’t really listen to any stations with instrumental music.
18. A song you wish you heard on the radio
L: Anything by Pentatonix. I wish I could find a station where they play, if they even do that. 🙂
I: Anything by Lindsey Stirling. I know she’s played for a radio stations before, so that would be cool. 😉
19. A song from your favorite album
L: I don’t usually like whole albums, but any Matt Maher song I’m basically guaranteed to like. ❤
I: I love all the songs on Philip Wesley’s Dark Night of the Soul album. It’s. so. good.
20. A song you listen to when you’re angry
L: Beat It by Michael Jackson
Yeah, so I really like MJ music…And this is a really angry-sounding song, so I thought it would fit.
I: Imperial March cover by Celldweller
It’s got an almost scary-sounding beat. Definitely angry… O_O
21. A song you listen to when you’re happy
L: Safe and Sound by Capital Cities
I don’t know, why but this song makes me so incredibly happy. I really love the use of the trumpets. The video makes me smile too. 🙂

L: Titanium by Sia (feat. David Guetta)

Another sad song. For me at least. *shrugs* I tend to think the strangest things are sad. 😛

L: A Thousand Years cover by Aimee Proal and Lindsey Stirling
Yeah, yeah, it’s a Twilight song, but I still like it a lot. ❤
I: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings – Concerning Hobbits by Vitamin String Quartet
XD I know, I know, maybe not this one…but I would definitely like a nice arrangement of Pachelbel’s Canon. ❤
24. A song you want to play at your funeral
Um…I don’t know?
25. A song that makes you laugh
L: Star Wars Medley cover by Lindsey Stirling and Peter Hollens
Geeky, cheesy, Star Wars fun. What’s not to love? 😀
I: Me and My Cello cover by ThePianoGuys
Again, the video really makes it funny. Love this song. ❤
26. A song that you can play on an instrument
L: Piano Man by Billy Joel
My Dad really loves this song, and it’s pretty fun to play on the piano. A much simpler version, but still. 🙂
I: Spontaneous Me by Lindsey Stirling
I was so proud when I finally learned to play this on piano! I’ve played it a couple times in public for talent shows and fair performances too. I still love it so much. ❤

Yes, she does sing in this one. It’s a made-up language, but still… 🙂
29. A song from your childhood
L: I remember loving Raffi songs a lot. The ones I remember most are Mr. Sun, Willoughby Wallaby Woo, and The More We Get Together. They bring back so many memories… ❤
I: I don’t remember listening to instrumental music much when I was younger… But I remember getting really excited when Trans-Siberian Orchestra came on during Christmas time, particularly this song.
30. Your favorite song at this time last year
Um…sorry, but I don’t remember back that far… XD
That’s the challenge! It was a lot of fun finding all of this music. 🙂 Thanks again for tagging me Bernie!
