Descendants // A Movie Review

Hello!

I just watched Descendants, so I thought I’d give you a little review! 🙂

When I first saw this, I thought Oh great, another cheesy Disney channel movie…

It is pretty cheesy, but a good kind of cheesy. Like the kind that entertains you even though sometimes you’re cringing a bit. 😛

I thought the characters were well portrayed and the casting was good. Plus, WOW they are good dancers!

There was a lot of singing and I felt that it was unnecessary, the movie would’ve been perfectly fine without it.

But all in all, this is a fun watch. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

I rate it 4/5 stars.

    I agree, there was a whole lot of singing and sometimes at weird parts…But Disney is known for their musicals and also, all the main characters are dancers or singers or both, so they probably wanted to use their talents….And I felt that the characters changed so fast. The first night their evil, (Breaking into the museum, ect..) but they’re already having doubts on if its the right thing to do (Mal’s song before her ‘mom’ sings) I felt that everything went so fast, like I wanted more character development, they needed to be evil for longer into the movie before they start to change nice, I know that they didn’t change completely till the very end, but they were noticeably nicer 😀 Thanks for the review! x)
